I Can't Believe the Sec Women's Basketball Pre-Season Awards - Here's Why!
Welcome to Gamecocks Talk with Captain Will, where I deliver the latest updates and insights on the South Carolina Women's Basketball team, including the newest recruits.
As three-time NCAA National Champions, the team is gearing up to defend their title in the forthcoming season.
In today's episode, we'll cover:
- My disagreement with the SEC's women's basketball preseason awards.
- The SEC Women's Basketball event on October 16 in Birmingham, Alabama, featuring Raven Johnson and Sania Feagin from the Gamecocks.
- The season's kickoff on October 15th against the Memphis Women's Basketball team at 9:30 p.m. on ESPN+.
The realm of women's basketball is ever evolving and expanding. Both NCAA Women's Basketball and the WNBA remain popular for their enthralling gameplay.
The women's college basketball season opens with a match against the Michigan Women's Basketball team in Las Vegas on November 4th.
Led by Head Coach Dawn Staley, the team boasts dynamic players such as Raven Johnson, Bree Hall, Chloe Kitts, and Ashlyn Watkins, supported by MiLaysia Fulwiley, Tessa Johnson, and Sania Feagin off the bench.
Fresh faces Maryam Dauda, Joyce Edwards, Maddy McDaniel, and Adhel Tac are poised to boost the team's performance this season.
